Crayon, whose real name is Charles Chibueze Chukwu and who was born on November 21, 2000, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter.
He inked a deal with Mavin Records in 2019.
Early life and Education
Crayon, originally from Ebonyi State, was born in Orile Iganmu, a community within Surulere, a suburb of Lagos State. At the age of 7, he relocated to Ojo, Lagos, where he was raised in a family of four. He pursued his secondary education at Treasure Court College in Ojo.
Career
In May 2019, Crayon was signed to Blowtime Entertainment, a division of Mavin Records. He dropped his debut EP “Cray Cray” on 12 July 2019. Then, on 19 March 2021, he released the single “Jackpot” featuring Bella Shmurda, as part of his second EP “Twelve A.M” which came out on 26 March 2021. Following that, Crayon released the single “Ijo (Laba Laba)” on 6 July 2022, which reached number 5 on the Turntable Top 100 chart.
