David England is an American stunt performer and former professional snowboarder, widely recognized for his role as one of the stars of the reality stunt show Jackass.

Career
David Joseph England was formerly a professional snowboarder and is featured in several of Kingpin Productions’ snowboarding videos, including “Bulletproof” and “Back in Black.” He founded Skintight Magazine, a snowboarding magazine, and worked as the field editor for Snowboarder Magazine as well as the editor of Blunt Magazine, the sister publication to the skateboarding magazine Big Brother. England also appears in the 2008 film “Shred,” co-starring Tom Green, which is about a snowboarding school run by England’s character and was filmed at the Big White ski resort in Canada.
In the reality stunt show Jackass, England participates in various stunts and pranks, often being the first to engage in activities involving fecal matter. He declared on the Jackass Number Two DVD commentary that he is the “world’s first professional shitter” because he gets paid to defecate on camera.
In Jackass 2.5, England humorously claims to be the only proven person in the world capable of defecating and vomiting on command, though he finds urinating on command difficult.
One notable stunt features England consuming several uncooked ingredients he deems suitable for an omelet. After inducing vomiting by eating raw eggs, he vomits into a bowl, fries it in a pan, and enthusiastically eats the “omelet” with Steve-O. Another skit, “Poo Diaper,” almost did not make it to television. In this skit, England reaches into a garbage can and eats chocolate pudding out of a baby’s diaper. Despite initial resistance, Johnny Knoxville convinced MTV to keep the skit after much debate.
Personal life
David Joseph England is married to Shawna England, and they have two sons named Van and Clyde. He also has two children from a previous relationship. In Jackass 3.5 (2011), it’s noted that England often transforms into his ill-tempered alter ego “Darf” when he drinks excessively. He has spent brief periods in jail in the United States, New Zealand, and Japan.
In an episode of the Bathroom Break Podcast with former Jackass and CKY crew member Chris Raab, England revealed that he lost one of his testicles after suffering a double hernia during a snowboarding accident in New Zealand in 1997. This incident was later mentioned again in Jackass 4.5 (2022).
