Early life
Chukwunonso Tristan Madueke was born on March 10, 2002 in Barnet, England. After signing with PSV, he relocated to the small village of Wintelre along with his mother.
Career
During his early career, Madueke began at Crystal Palace at the age of nine before moving to Tottenham Hotspur, where he captained the under-16 team and debuted for the under-18s at 15. In June 2018, he transferred to Dutch club PSV, rejecting an offer from Manchester United. His senior debut for Jong PSV came on August 26, 2019, followed by his first-team debut on January 19, 2020. Madueke excelled during the 2020-21 season, notably scoring in his first start for PSV and contributing to the team’s success with goals and assists. He extended his contract with PSV in August 2021 before joining Chelsea on January 20, 2023, for a significant transfer fee. He marked his debut for Chelsea with a goal in a league match against Arsenal on May 2, 2023.
Madueke has represented England at various youth levels, showcasing his talent with notable performances, including scoring twice in a qualifier against Denmark under-17. He was part of the squad for the 2019 UEFA European Under-17 Championship and has also played for the U18 and U21 teams.
